This week on The ion Record podcast digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with Daily Commercial News staff writer Don Wall, who recently attended a webinar presented by the Urban Land Institute in Toronto titled “Redressing Black Displacement in Canada.”

The webinar was moderated by Camille Mitchell, an architect with Gensler, and the discussion featured Angela Simmonds, manager of equity and access with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society; Itah Sadu, co-owner of Toronto’s A Different Booklist Cultural Centre; and Stephanie Allen, founding member of the Hogan’s Alley Society in Vancouver.

Don gives his impressions of the topics covered and presents a number of audio clips from the seminar with comments from Sadu, Allen, Simmonds and Mitchell and he also conducted a post-webinar interview with Sadu which we’ve included in the podcast.
