Wicked winds pummelled B.C., coupled with a deluge of rain that caused catastrophic mudslides and “atmospheric rivers” that wiped away bridges, roadways and in some cases submerged villages.

Wastewater treatment plants buckled and some completely failed, while other critical infrastructure was put at risk.
