On this episode of the °µÍø½ûÇøion Record Podcast, Journal of Commerce and Daily Commercial News national managing editor Vince Versace is joined by digital media editor Warren Frey and staff writer Russell Hixson, who recently wrote about the B.C. Court of Appeal’s decision to decline to hear a Charter of Rights and Freedoms challenge to the province’s Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) policy. Russ gathered reactions from those both for and against CBAs and gave us a rundown on where things currently stand.

Russell also looked at recent developments regarding prompt payment exemptions in the residential sector, and Vince gave us an update on how e-permitting is gaining steam in Ontario.

Vince also interviewed lawyer and former DCN columnist Janice Quigg, about leadership and how to develop culture and trust when everyone is working from home in the midst of a global pandemic.
