The °µÍø½ûÇøion Record Podcast – Episode 288: The ‘emoji’ case and forestry micro-certificates

On this episode of The °µÍø½ûÇøion Record Podcast, digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with British Columbia °µÍø½ûÇøion Association president Chris Atchison about a Saskatchewan case involving contracts and emojis.

Atchison pointed out while the case is not related directly to construction it serves as a cautionary tale for owners and contractors to ensure they are diligent when forming agreements on projects.

We also have an interview by Journal of Commerce staff writer Evan Saunders with Sheri Andrews-Key, the director of micro-certificate programming with the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Forestry about use of micro-certificates to better allow industry to learn about topics such as climate vulnerability, natural resource management and other sustainability studies.

You can listen to The °µÍø½ûÇøion Record on the Daily Commercial News and Journal of Commerce websites as well as on ,ÌýÌý²¹²Ô»åÌý podcast section. Our previous episode featuring interviews about the Thornbury Acres project and the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum’s push for inclusion here. Thanks for listening.
