This week on the °µÍø½ûÇøion Record podcast we’ve got part two of an interview with Trevor Botkin, who spoke to Journal of Commerce staff writer Russell Hixson about his experience with substance use while working in the construction industry.
In this section of the interview Trevor talks about how he entered recovery and helped others to do the same and details his path from volunteer to executive director of HeroWork Victoria. He also explains the mentality both of workers and the industry that leads people to not recognize or deal with substance use.
This interview is in recognition of both Mental Health Week and our ongoing Cracks in the Foundation series. We’ve included links to a recap of our initial series of articles below as well as articles and videos from the second part of the series.
You can listen to The °µÍø½ûÇøion Record and TCR Express on the Daily Commercial News and Journal of Commerce websites as well as on ,ÌýÌý²¹²Ô»åÌý podcast section and you can hear the first part of Russell’s interview with Trevor Botkin here. Thanks for listening and we’ll see you next week.
