On this episode of the °µÍø½ûÇøion Record Podcast, digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with WINT Water Intelligence chief product and strategy officer Yaron Dycian about how the company is lowering carbon emissions and reducing water damage and waste through smart monitoring.
Dycian explained water damage leaks are one of the top claims and causes for delay on construction sites and that WINT’s monitoring systems look at the water flow patterns in key areas of a site and sends out alerts when there’s a deviation in normal water levels.
He added water management is a key component in lowering carbon footprints by making the cycle of water transportation to and through buildings more efficient. Conventional processes including sewage treatment generates significant emissions and by catching leaks and other damage less water is distributed, reducing GHGs.
