Tickets available for Architecture and Design Film Festival in Toronto and Vancouver

TORONTO — Films demonstrating the impact of design on fashion, real estate, art, architecture, urban planning and housing will be featured at this year’s .

The event has been taking place in Toronto and Vancouver for years. The 2022 program will feature films from 10 countries, three of which are from Canada. Tickets are now on sale.

, presented by Eventscape, will be at the TIFF BELL Lightbox from Nov. 2 to 5. Opening night will feature the Canadian premiere of , a film about the intersection between fashion, design and the built environment, exploring how one person’s passion can impact a global community, indicates a release. The filmmaker, Becky Hutner, is originally from Toronto and will be attending the premiere to take part in a discussion following the film.

In addition to Opening Night, the Toronto Society of Architects is collaborating with the festival to curate conversations following a number of the films. 

, presented by All in Pictures and Vancouver Special, will be at VIFF from Nov. 9 to 12. will be taking place at the art deco Hollywood Theatre. ADFF will screen two films that were created in Vancouver, the first about legendary architect and the second, , which features Vancouver architects like Michael Green in conversations about biophilic design, states a release.

A number of conversations will be announced in the near future. There will also be a panel led by following the screening of Robin Hood Gardens, which had its world premiere at ADFF:NY.
